We believe everyone deserves private, anonymous access to AI. No profiles. No tracking. No data trail. Just you and the conversation.
Why We Exist
Every major AI provider knows who you are. They build profiles from your prompts, analyze your usage patterns, and use that data to sell you ads, manipulate your behavior, investigate you, or upcharge you for services. Your most personal questions become part of a dossier with your name on it.
We built Obscurify because we believe there should be an alternative. A way to access the world's best AI models with real privacy and anonymity. Ask anything, explore any idea, and know that none of it follows you around the internet.
Beyond anonymized cloud models, we offer local models that run entirely in your browser — your conversations never leave your device. We also provide access to uncensored models for users who want AI without artificial content restrictions.
Our Principles
● Privacy by Default
Anonymity is our foundation, not an afterthought. We don't build profiles, track usage patterns, or collect personal information.
● No Identity Required
Your account is just a random account number: no email, username or password. Pay with crypto or card through blind vouchers, which we can't link to your account.
● Transparency
We're upfront about how we operate, what data we handle, and what we don't. No fine print, no surprises.
● Access for All
Frontier AI shouldn't require handing over your identity. Everyone deserves anonymous access to powerful tools.
What We Don't Do
- ✓ We don't collect personal information or build user profiles

- ✓ We record IP addresses only to prevent abuse, and delete them after 30 days
- ✓ We don't share identifying data with AI providers or third parties
- ✓ Conversations are held in memory for up to 1 hour for performance reasons, then permanently deleted
- ✓ Your prompts can never be traced back to you
How It Works
Obscurify acts as a privacy layer between you and AI providers. When you send a request, we strip identifying information and forward it anonymously using our shared credentials. The provider sees our request, not yours. The response comes back through us, and we deliver it without storing your prompt or the response.
For maximum privacy, you can run GGUF models locally via llama.cpp. These models are downloaded once and run entirely on your device — no server involved, no data sent anywhere. It's AI that's completely yours.
We also offer uncensored models for users who want unfiltered AI without artificial content restrictions. Combined with our anonymization, you get honest answers without someone deciding what you're allowed to ask.
You can access our service through the web interface, our API (compatible with OpenAI's format), or via our Tor hidden service for maximum anonymity.
Questions
● Who can use the API?
Every account with a positive balance, on any plan, including Pay As You Go. Use your account's API key with any OpenAI SDK at https://obscurify.ai/v1. You pay the same per-model prices as in the web chat. Frontier models need Casual or Pro, and uncensored models need Pro. See the API docs.
● Can I try it for free?
Guests can chat with an open model, no account needed. New accounts also get $1 of starter credit while this month's promo budget lasts. You can spend it on any model your plan includes, in the chat or through the API. Starter credit can't be withdrawn or refunded.
● What do I need to sign up?
Nothing. You get a random 16-digit account number with no email, username or password. Save it: we keep only a scrambled copy, so we can't recover it.
● How do I pay?
Buy a blind voucher with Monero, Bitcoin, Lightning or a card, then redeem it to your balance. We can't tell which payment funded which account. See pricing.
